What is a model call? Model calls are for photographers to carry out a special project or vision they specifically want to create.
If you're selected, I will pick the location, style you, and also provide you with 5 digital images for your time.
Model calls are only done on weekdays.
I am looking for a variety of models:
Pregnant 25-33 weeks
Mom and Dad with a newborn
- in home and in studio
Babies 10 - 18 months
Mom and child - 6 or 7 years old
Florist
Bakery/Cake Artist
Event Planner
You'll need to be open and willing to have fun and go follow my lead and vision. No cranky dads or partners please ;)
No modeling experience is necessary, but child(ren) must be comfortable being photographed.
All images will used on social media, used to advertise, and also can be used for promotional material or publication/resale,
so a model release and complimentary contract will need to be signed.
Model calls are required to pay a $150 retainer fee. Please be sure that you can make it before committing.
A lot of work goes into these shoots so the $150 is to cover a potential no show, studio fees, etc.
There will also be a cost of hair and makeup (typically around $200) and supplies / outfits / props needed to accomplish the vision.
For example, if you are pregnant, newborn or mom and child, wardrobe will be specifically selected for you, if you are
a florist, you must be willing to bring material to work with, event planner must be willing to design and bring a set,
cake artist to design and bring a cake, etc.
Can I buy additional images when I love them? Of course! We'll provide investment options post session.
If you apply for a model call, you'll receive a $50 certificate towards a regularly priced session with me even if you are not selected for the model call.
Can I bring someone with or select my location? This will depend on what I am needing. Model calls are specifically to create the vision I am looking for.
